Your first track day should start with understanding.
A circuit introduces new procedures, reference points and riding etiquette. Track lessons help you understand those basics before asking you to concentrate on pace. The aim is controlled, repeatable riding.
A six-part introduction
- Prepare for the circuit. Motorcycle and equipment checks, flags, briefings and pit-lane procedures.
- Learn the layout. Find the main reference points and understand how to share the circuit.
- Use your vision. Look ahead and build a repeatable line through each corner.
- Manage corner entry. Work on braking, speed choice and a calm transition into the turn.
- Stay relaxed and smooth. Develop body position and control inputs appropriate to your level.
- Review each session. Discuss what worked and choose one useful focus for the next run.
Small groups, shared learning
These events are arranged for groups of 2–10 riders. The group size, coaching arrangements and circuit access are explained before booking. A group of ten does not imply ten riders assigned to one instructor.
Is this the right programme for you?
You should be comfortable operating your motorcycle and willing to learn circuit procedures. Tell us about any previous road or track experience. If you want help with basic bike control, tell us before booking so we can discuss suitable on-track coaching.
Equipment and motorcycle
The required protective equipment and motorcycle preparation depend on the venue. We confirm those requirements for your session. Rental for circuit use must be specifically agreed in advance.
